    Chess Board

Select Graph Paper Tool from Tool Box.
Add the number of rows (8) and column (8) using Property Bar.
Press CTRL and draw square shaped graph paper.
From Paper Tool Options select Separeted cell border.
Whit object selected go to Arrange – Break Table Apart press or Ctrl+K
Now you have to ungrup the table Arrange – Ungrup or press Ctrl+U
Press Shift and select alternate square for first row with Pick Tool.
    Fill with black color.
    Do this for each row.
Tips;) Lock the outside square when you do the alternate selection.

UNTIL HERE EVERYTHING IS CLEAR I ASSUME.

Select the drawing by dragging Pick Tool around it and grup all the object – Arrange > Group or press Ctrl+G
Give some perspective to the chess table – Effects > Add Perspective
Drag four points with cursor and create a perspective.
Ungrup the object select the outside square fill whit white color and add shadow with Interactive Drop Shadow Tool.

TO ADD PERSPECTIVE YOU HAVE TO MAKE A GRUP OF OBJECT BECAUSE THE ADD PERSPECTIVE TOOL WORKS JUST FOR ONE OBJECT OR FOR A GRUP OF OBJECT.
AFTER SELECTING THE ADD PERSPECTIVE TOOL A BOUNDING BOX WILL APPEAR WHIT 4 POINTS(NODES). THE SHAPE TOOL IS ALL READY SELECTED AND NOW YOU HAVE TO DRAG THE POINTS(NODES) TO WHAT PERSPECTIVE YOU WANT.
TO APPLY A SHADOW TO AN OBJECT YOU HAVE TO FILL IT FIRST.

    have A nice day!
